my yosemite adventure began in the lions club, at bingo night. i observed as my counterparts played. it was exactly as one would imagine. what happened in-between was mentioned in yesterday’s post and is omitted for everyones safety. including you, the reader. yosemite falls, as seen from the valley floor. half dome, prior to sunset, […]
it’s been an adventurous week around here. trying to shake the excess stuff away and get back into the swing of things and there’s nothing quite like a good cemetery visit. this one was at the weimar institute, which i believe is now called the weimar center of health and education. the cemetery served as […]
i love pictures of people on the subway. the ones where the people don’t know their picture is being taken are the best. there’s a pretty cool set from the ny subway in 70s and 80s here. the graffiti makes for a beautiful backdrop.
seeing deer around these parts never gets old. saw this mom and baby mule deer, feeding, the other afternoon.
this guy was spotted by my trusty companion, and neighborhood watcher, aka my road dog, a couple weeks back. still can’t believe he was just strolling down my street.

i’ve been pretty sunset obsessed as of late. my front porch has one of the best views of this site and i keep finding myself there at the end of the day. this sunset was captured at the airport parking lot, waiting for my mom, a couple weeks ago, after a storm.
something about the bright blue sky and the palm trees, give this a far less creepy feeling. not that i mind creepy, i typically favor it, but if anything can warm up a cemetery, i guess those two things can.
i had the fortunate pleasure of visiting a dear friend at his place of employment, harry winston. i was taken back through the “hall of mirrors” and got to see some amazing pieces of adornment. this, just this…holy moly, love at first sight! the amazing marquetry work of nelly saunier. the video of how this […]
