Nehalennia

Several months ago, a friend of my little sister asked if I could create something for her then upcoming trip to Ireland. He wanted Celtic symbols, amazonite or jade and moonstone. Well this is what I came up with.

The raven was used to represent Nehalennia, the goddess who protects travelers, which is flying by the light of the moon (moonstone) and surrounded by Celctic knots. Two pieces of amazonite flank either side.

We weren’t able to get this to her beforehand but she recently returned home and received it, to great joy. High fives to Wesley for doing such a sweet thing for his friend and my beloved sister. This was obviously a very important piece to get to do and knowing that someone cares for her on such a level to do something like this for her speaks volumes of the person she is. My heart is full.
